Please support Doctors Park Friends!

We have been active for just over five years. In that time, we have made many improvements in the park, large and small. As you think about your year-end charitable gifts, please consider a gift to Doctors Park Friends. Your financial support makes things happen. Things like:

  • Tree and native plant restoration
  • New picnic tables and benches
  • Frisbee golf equipment
  • New Wayfinding Signs
  • Weed-out efforts
  • Maintenance projects

This year the Parks dept. built only four new restrooms/pavilions. An active and supportive friends group for Doctors was instrumental in securing one.

Your gift will help support continued efforts like these and a few more ambitious plans. We want to bring new life to the Beach House as an open-air pavilion, and work toward repair of large sections of both the Central staircase and South Ravine staircase down the bluff to the lake. These projects will require larger fundraising efforts to complete. Your contribution today helps to fund preliminary work such as engineering studies.
