Save Our Beach House.

Doctors Park Beach house is at risk of being lost to disrepair. If it disappears, we lose more than a remarkable building: we lose a century of summers, shared memories, and a rare public place along Lake Michigan. That’s why we’re putting out an S.O.S. With your help. It can be restored and reimagined for future generations.

Interested in park history?

There were two major federal employment projects of the 1930s: the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Works Progress Administration. Nearly every one of the county's 157 parks over 15,300 acres were somehow touched by the WPA. At Doctors Park, you can see the result in the jetties on the beach, the Beach House, many trails and the Central Staircase along the bluff. Listen to a report on WUWM, Milwaukee’s NPR.
